It is indeed great honour for me that Amnesty completed its marvelious and invaluables 50 years of services of Human & women Rights while i m its member.I joined Amnesty in 1994 and then since 1997 working as a General Secretary Lahore Group.Amnesty gave me alot of opprtunaity to get involved in activism of human rights across the world.it was through writting letters, urgent appeal etc.As a international member of Amnesty it enhanced my reletionship with others acivitist particualry with others offices of Amnesty in others countries.AGM 2011 of Amnesty is very impressive for me.50 years activities must celeberated in all regions through out the year.
Most valuable work of amnesty is to save the life of the human being, protect the rights of life.Demolishing the death penality campaign is great services of humanity.I love Amnesty it cause and its work for all human being regardless religion, region, race, nation and color..it is most nobal work being done by Amnesty.

Hi AI friends,
Nice to see that this time you met in Belfast. Although of Irish ancestry (like many Canadians), I’ve only been able to spend one week in Ireland, north and south. How glad I was to see my grandmother’s home city, Dublin. Although that was ‘way back in July 1993, I well remember beautiful Queen’s University and fascinating Belfast.
All the best in our work, at least as vital now as 50 years ago!

It is the right of every human being to have a life and be treated with dignity and respect. The hope is that human rights abuses globally will become less frequent, although owing to human nature they will never be completely eradicated. The involvement of Amnesty has helped highlight the plight of so many people around the world whose lives are daily struggles and in doing so is affecting change for the better.
I am one of the many fortunates living in a country where a lot of these human rights abuses experienced around the globe are few and far between and yet I have nothing but the greatest respect for Amnesty and the changes in peoples lives they have brought about. If it wasn’t for you billions of people around the world would be lost. God bless you and long may your work continue.
